2021 Commemoration T-Shirt

Gina would have been graduating in a few months part of the Class of 2021. College studies, new friends and new experiences filling her with equal parts of excitement and trepidation. A bright, yet unknown future ahead of her.

To reflect that hopeful future we asked some of Gina’s friends to design the shirt for the upcoming 3rd commemoration of the tragedy that took her from us. This year’s design was created by Gina’s friend, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School senior, Lexi Tracton.

“When making the t-shirt design, I really wanted to capture the whimsy of Gina and her vibrant personality. Gina read a lot of books and made the characters and stories jump off the page with her imagination; when we would play games together in elementary school and act out the books we read, she always made it fun and creative. I really wanted to honor her memory and capture the quirky and witty person she was.” -Lexi
