Class of 2021 Legacy Scholarship

Gina Rose Montalto, a member of the class of 2021 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Sadly, she was a victim of the mass shooting in Parkland, Florida, on February 14, 2018.

To honor her memory and commemorate her graduation year, the Foundation will be awarding one student a prepaid, four-year university scholarship. This program is offered in conjunction with the Stanley G. Tate Florida Prepaid College Foundation. This scholarship is designed to be used at a Florida College or State University, however the amount covered by the scholarship can also be applied to other schools nationwide.

Gina was smart, kind, and wise beyond her years. She was selfless and caring. She adored spending time with her family and friends. She was a graceful dancer and an incredibly talented artist, yet she was humble when complimented. She was an excellent student who loved to learn. She would have undoubtedly contributed great things to this world. She will be remembered as a gentle, caring and beautiful soul that was taken far too soon.
